Well today us two Jims would like to try out DIAGONALS.
http://digital-photography-school.com/using-diagonal-lines-in-photographyNow after reading this site I found that photographic diagonals go from one edge to another so I suspect cropping will be practiced. Diagonals are very interesting because you can use your imagination and your creativity and work with thirds, DOF, composition and ...cropping.
Have fun...
This is NOT a diagonal even though it is diagonally because the right edge is not touched
This one is because you can see each end touches an edge
Cropped out some wires. A new pipeline they put in last fall
Ocean View, Norfolk, VA
Interesting shot...what is between the mountains?
Here you get three diagonals

Loc: Long Island, NY
Excellent photos and perfect examples of the use of diagonals in composition. Well done Roadrunner.

Hi Jims, not sure if this qualifies. Taken in my back garden with one of the trees it is my first attempt on Camera/Shutter Drag. Hopefully i will find better subjects eventually.
