Me too, yet here we are. :)

We can pick up where we left off if you like. Lets see, think it went like this:

WildBill
We have the right to bear arms because we had just overthrown a corrupt British government.
gnslngr
Owning guns to ensure honest government is insane. The USA will just bomb and nuke you. You are being absolutely ludicrous.
WildBill
The USA is going to nuke the USA to kill US citizens with hunting rifles?
gnslngr
Thank you for proving you are an idiot

Your Welcome

Have I captured the basics of it so far? I love intellectually stimulating conversations.

wildbill.

I have noted that certain people have a tendancy to believe themselves supperior when they discover that they actualy have the mental capacity to latch on to an idea. Most likely not even theirs. Note, I didn't state original idea. They are usualy loners and attempt to congragate in areas that they realy have no interest in, nor knowledge of. They believe that in doing so, they are protected out of their own ignorance. :XD:

This is a big waste of time. The libs know thay cant win this gun debate. Guns are hear to stay. So get over it. When obummer said he ran for change I knew it would be for the worse. What a big mess hes made of things and its only going to get much worse. Hang on to your money and your guns. We got four more years to put up with this guy running this country into the ground.

This is well said. These delusional sofa-riding pretend heroes buy guns so that they can fantasize about bringing down their imaginary enemies. In their real lives they are weak in both mind and spirit and weaponry is the only thing that they have to pretend that they matter.

Funny, but we have a very similar image of you. Sitting on your sofa, never served in the armed forces, inactive within the community (except to bash a teacher because you are inept as a parent), not wanting to hear what is really going on in the world, voting with no idea what you are voting for, and completely secure in your delusional perceptions of reality. How about that. Only difference is that I did serve, I know what is going on in government, I vote on issues I am well informed about, I know that my child's education is my responsibility, I believe in the Constitution, and I am involved in my community BUT YOU really are clueless.

I hope beyond hope that our country finds some way to come together rather than continue to polarize like it has. The first civil war was more than bloody enough to teach the lesson we need to find another way. We have a Constitution that Conservatives believe in and will fight for. Any thought of Revolution will come from Liberals as they are the people trying to change government into something it is not. We can only hope they see the error in their pursuit. With all I am I hope that we never see a war within our borders. In war, the life expectancy of an infantry solder is just over 1 minute. Airborne like I was, just a few seconds. I am well aware of the consequences of violence. I am also well aware that you would rather face a holocaust with no weapons. That is your right to choose for you, not for me. Cattle for the slaughter is not my idea of civil obedience.

I am with you Wildbill.
This is from a retired Navy Seal, that served in Viet Nam.
I saw way too much violence and atrocities there.
I am also an informed voter and do not want to see a war within our borders. Call me paranoid because i keep up with politics in pur government and am damed scared of what i see going on.

No - all members of soceity should contribute, so what is oppressive about it?

Are you saying that Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, have less freedom than you? And all of these countries HAVE gun control.

If freedom is being afraid to live life WITHOUT a gun, I'm glad to live in a country that doesn't have your FREEDOM

What if the teachers are not there? No, you should arm the children! Make shooting classes mandatory in pre-school (maybe 3-5 years?) and issue a handgun to all children on their fist day at school!

So what you are saying is that your adored Socialists murdered over 100,000 MILLION People for their own good ?
And the only reason the screwed up " imagined change " of these murdering Socialist bastards failed was because something went wrong with their " implementation " ... oops?

you are a sick little Socialist puppy . Lol

Very impressive wrongdoings by the socialists, murdering more people than ever lived since we evolved....

No doubt some socialists murdered a lot of ppl, but the number you write is silly. And I am sure not all were murdered "for their own good", more likely for "the idea" - similar to religious fanatics murdering for their beliefs.

Your parents had a choice. It's called BIRTH CONTROL. You're being taxed because your parent had unsafe sex and from what I see at times by the comments, spelling and grammar you give for support of your beliefs, the best sperm missed their mark.
