You should call customer service, and in case you did not know, this is how the Payboo card works, if you pay with with the payboo card, you do not have to pay sales tax.
When ever I make a purchase like yours, I call them to make sure they know that I am going to pay over 6 months or a year, if you do that, YOU HAVE TO PAY THE SALES TAX on your purchase but are charged no interest if you pay it off within the specified time frame. So if the sales tax is .05 and you buy 6000.00, you'll have to pay about 300 in sales tax on that purchase.
If they had you pay interest, there is probably a mix up at there end. I WOULD CALL THEM INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING HERE.
Why not put your big boy pants on and call them, I am sure BnH will fix it, REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Folks like you that come here FIRST to complain instead of handling it with customer service show everyone here what you really are, a whiner.

Didn't you read my post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got 12 months NO INTEREST, NO SALES TAX.
How long have you been blind?
Guess I'm blind as well, because that is NOT how payboo works.... at least not as shown in the terms. Personally, I have used both payboo cards..but always paid the balance off before the interest would be charged.

Yes. I know you did...as did probably others. I wasn't addressing you, but the chap who seemed to think he could both pay no sales tax AND get credit terms.
My sales tax rate, here just north of Seattle is now a whopping 10.6%!!
I imagine B&H pays the sales tax, as it is written into law in most if not all states that charge it, these days. It would be their way to offer discounts or attract customers, or both.

What else? Maybe more explanation. Bread Financial is headquartered in Ohio and Comenity Bank is headquartered in Deleware. What am I missing?

Actually, both Bread Financial and its subsidiary, Comenity Bank, are headquartered in Columbus. The Delaware office is Comenity's only operating branch, it appears. Also affiliated with Bread is Comenity Capital Bank, which appears to be headquartered in Utah. Like you, I had wondered about the Texas reference.
Originally in Plano as Alliance. Lots of mergers and fiscal center relocations. DE is the Switzerland of the USA.

Yes, for incorporation especially (DE). I expected to find Comenity incorporated in Delaware, but apparently not. Just their one operating office located there.
