Wow they only charged you 26% instead of 29%
They charge 0 if you pay it off within the time period. I really don't care what interest they charge, I do not pay interest. And most folks who use Payboo do not pay any SALES TAX. That's why most use it.
And most of us remember the history of this.
B&H never used to charge sales tax, then the government got greedy and wanted folks who used the internet to make a purchase to pay sales taxes.
So, B&H, to their credit, got a credit card company so folks who bought from them STILL DID NOT HAVE TO PAY SALES TAXES. That was really NICE of B&H to do that. They did not have to do it, and I appreciate that they did it. Don't you appreciate what B&H did? Do you like paying sales taxes? Do you like to save money?

Your an idiot.
Yes I am an idiot but I am not lying.
At the risk of further redundancy, in an already redundant thread:
https://appleinsider.com/deals/bh-payboo-card#:~:text=2022%20update%3A%20The%20B%26H%20Payboo,issued%20through%20Comenity%20Capital%20Bank.
I think there's one mistake in the article re: purchasing ability, but that doesn't affect the operational details of the program. Note that B&H's current Payboo program with Comenity/Bread Financial only began in 2022. Prior to that, Payboo was through Synchrony Bank. Also note that some states/territories prohibit use of the sales tax refund option.
That's the agreement with Payboo and its bank, NOT B&H

Exactly. I don't think anything in the link or my comments indicate otherwise.
Actually, at its most basic level, PayBoo IS B&H, since the arrangement with Comenity/Bread was negotiated by B&H and since the card is not usable anywhere other than B&H. Nevertheless, customer issues with regard to terms and use of the card are resolved via the bank, not directly with B&H.

Payboo is excellent but The rules are strict, if you don’t know the rules, you will always lose. If you know the rules you’ll always win. If you’re trying to get the sales tax paid, it’s terrific. If you’re trying to spread out the bill without interest, it’s terrific. Break the rules and you will pay almost 30% extra.

First of all I have lost count of how much money I have happily spent at BnH. Every single experience I have had at BnH has been positive. Absolutely no complaints from me what so ever. So what's going on now?
I opened a Payboo account. With this account you can buy what you want, and depending on how much you spend you get so many months of interest free payments.
I bought $6200.00 worth of new gear expecting several months to pay it off so I wouldn't by paying any interest.
I received my first invoice today from Payboo and they charged me $134.00 in interest.
I am not done with BnH by any means. Since i don't have $6,000 sitting around to pay this off tomorow I guess I have no other option except to withdraw money from my pension account to pay off this balance and say good bye to Payboo.
So what's up BnH?

I feel people are hesitant about asking questions for fear they will be mocked. That’s not the way this forum was set up. Sometimes you just want to hear others opinions about something and not a lecture on all the places you should have gone to find the answer yourself. It’s not that hard to be courteous to others.

You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong. Please go to the site, look up any camera, I just bought a Nikon Z9 and got 12 months no interest, NO SALES TAX.
Why do you persist on stating false information when it's obvious you are WRONG.
You could influence others away from using the Payboo card to purchase expensive equipment. Why would you do that?
That's not wrong... It depends on the amount of the purchase. I think over $199 qualifies for 6mo and over $599 gets you 12mo. (Unless it changed very recently.)

Returning won't save you the interest.
If you return an item that you paid interest on, you certainly should receive the interest.
Even municipalities require an accurate balance sheet.

first I am not sure if he still can return it because when he received the bill it's almost a month after the purchase. Second I don't know but I think he has the loan for the month so he should have to pay for the interest.
