Thanks, Jim, this is the third year here. Each year they have added poles.

Our local power company, Rocky Mountain Power, has installed nine long poles with platforms to allow the GBH a place to nest safe from land based predators. As you can see in #1, the pricy high-level spots have already been taken.

Mating and hatching are well under way as seen in #3.

Very interesting Mike. That's quite the setup. I've seen natural stacked nests in trees, but this man made one is pretty cool.

They were very creative to address the predator problems during the drought.
