Yes...not a pleasant experience. A V.A. Tech (Nurse?) cleaned my ears...once. The water was COLD! Looks like a good investment!

I'm a good customer, so they always use warm water.

I'm afraid that if I get water in my ears, there goes my hearing.

I've been cleaning my ears that way for many many years.
I haven't had any hearing problem as yet.

PS: I had a new PCP tell me I was cleaning my ears too well.
I immediately found me another PCP.

A lot of that looked like BS to me.
After a shower and dousing my ears I only use a cotton swab to pick up what the water had washed out.
I don't ever get the swab close to my eardrum.

The first thing you have to do is soften the earwax that has hardened into a lump deep in your ear. Only then you can wash it out with either the shower nozzle or this device. You can get earwax softener at your pharmacy.

Yes Jerry I wonder why your Ear doctor did not do the earwax softening method.

If by "method," you mean putting drops in my ears, yes, he did. Fifteen minutes later, he used the water pressure method. I had been using drops all week.
