Good morning all from a cloudy and windy Norfolk, only 4C in the wind. Eye seems OK today, now have to wait a few weeks before I can go back to the opticians for an eye test. Nothing planned for the day apart from my friend calling in for a quick coffee after work this afternoon. Won't be here for long but will be good to have a catch up before his next visit. Will get on with my knitting this afternoon until then. Have a good one if you can. xx

Glad your eye is okay for today and hoping it gets better tomorrow.
Nice to have a visitor drop in even if it is even for a short while.

Good morning from a 46°F and cloudy Shoreline area. Off to meet my new healthcare person this morning. My former doctor has retired so they are setting up these new to us visits. No other plans, so will get on with my knitting at some point. I hope you all are staying safe and well and having as good a day as you can. xxxooo

It is hot here today at 85F!

Yikes, you skipped spring and went right to summer. I am enjoying our 70 degree temperatures with sunshine and a light breeze.

Well what a disappointment. I’ve no choc iced lollies left in the freezer. I am going to have to call at the shop on Wednesday, if I go to Wendy’s. I’ve been to s and b today and knitted 20 lines. Is that good or is that good hahah. It’s very cold here today. I was happy to put my winter coat on.

I have no news, I shall see Marilyn again tomorrow. Pat has gone to Tunisia 🇹🇳 for a few weeks. Last night I got some lovely 🥰 photos on what’s app from Stephen. He was at the Fuji mountain and had quite a good walk round. He got the train and off he went. I said I hope you’re not on your own……..he texted back. Mother……I’m 51…and nothing happens here. I don’t know that I believe it. 4 more days to work then its home James.

Richard has text me to say he went to Newcastle with the boys and went to see doctor who followers. He’s daft on it. He had a photo of himself with John barrowman. It takes all sorts to please different people. I do believe Matthew is still in love, never seen or heard of them since February…..he must be happy.

Luv yawl, stay safe and happy, have peace and patience and try to be happy if you’re not already feeling it. Marg is going to the lakes tomorrow for a couple of nights. I’ll see Karen in the morning. Lisa you’re doing ok….
90 br br Well what a disappointment. I’ve no choc... (show quote)

Oh no what will you do without iced lollies. Tell Steven and he will be straight home to save you. 🙃
I have not seen Flo since before Christmas. I do hear from her via text several times a week. Am returning her Christmas gift today.

My alarm has gone off so it is time for me to pack. My laptop is still doing Windows updates so I’ll have to prop it open and hope mum doesn’t destroy it while she is cleaning today.
Everyone have a great day and stay safe and well or get better soon.

I hate when my gadgets update. It seems in a few days it needs to update again to fix the first updates. Since my phone updated I have to use my code to open it most of the time. Gee my thumb print is safer than a code.

Last night I threw a frozen chunk of beef into the instant pot thinking it was a small roast. Nope, it was a pile of boneless steaks. So we had shredded steaks over mashed potatoes with gravy from the steaks. That was NOT my favourite way to cook a steak!
I found several packages of lamb chunks in the freezer too. We’ll have to have those soon.
I hope your Eye laser ing turns out well.

I have two large packages of meat in my small freezer. I could not figure out what they were. Mr. Wonderful told me they were the backstrap from the deer grandson got last hunting season. Um, what to do with them as they take up way to much space.

I agree. I decided to go with an registered nurse this time around. If there is anything that comes up that needs a doctor's skills, she can refer me. Will see how this goes. xxxooo

It’s a sunny day , but windy and sooooo cold 🥶. I’ve been to knit 🧶 and natter today. I only got 5 row knitted in an hour and a half. Too busy chatting. I went into Karen’s this morning 🌅 and they are trying to get a better way of getting Karen in the car. There’s a hoist inside, but she due a new 🆕 wheel 🛞 chair 🪑 and it’s got to fit it. Andrew is hoisting all the time. 🕰️. The ramp that was put up to the back door 🚪 isn’t large enough to swing the chair round, so that has to be seen to. Is it not bad enough that this lady is confined to a chair and sitting room chair without all this embarrassment .most places in uk 🇬🇧 don’t cater for paraplegics. It’s so embarrassing for her. She hates to be the centre of attention.

I was reading about my tv liscence and if your 75:and on benefits….you get the licence free, but if you get no monetary help then I have to pay for it myself. Which is fine. I thank this country for no monetary help……I worked all my life, so I am not eligible for a tv liscence. Me and millions of other aged people who have worked with no help can’t have it. I’m penalised because I’ve never had help from he state, by if I knew then what I know now…..no wonder lots of people don’t look for work.

That’s me off my soapbox. I’m better off without any help. Makes me cross……Lisa it’s nice to see you’re getting on line. So….im in a rage now,,,,,,,hahaha. I get myself all worked and cross with all the fiddles that go on in our country. I’d best go….im going to blow…….hahaha.

Love yawl, stay safe, stay warm because it’s freezing here. Look after each other. Will see you tomorrow when I’m not so cross x hahaha just ignore me.

Sorry for your cat too. Today I couldn’t find mooch I thought he’d gone to die. Finally after I chattered to him he came out. Don’t know if he was sleeping or changed his mind about dieing. They didn’t call for car so maybe tomorrow. Had to cancel doctor appointment because I didn’t do the fasting blood-test and had no car to get there.

Called tax man because I got so busy with car/cat issues I forgot to send the paper but he sent it electronically aNd soon as I get the car I will mail the signed papers and his check.

I had a conflict with a friend who thinks I’m depressed but I know I’m just upset and tired of the car problems. Two other friends said I don’t sound depressed to them just upset. I think some people want to put labels on things they are not qualified to label.

Been doing cross stitch and I think when it’s done I’ll take out the sweater I started and make a different one. Lost interest and I had used the wrong size needles so it needed altering to suit that size needles. I’d rather just start again different pattern. I found a book of sweaters I would like to make. Hope you feel well and weather is fine.

I don’t think youre depressed jolly. I think you’ve just got fed up with being used……..if you’d been a man the garage would never have treat you like the way they did. You’ve got lots of things to worry about and you sail through your problems. And……you always cope because you come through it. Keep it up, don’t let the b*****s grind you down.
