Hello, You are so wise to rip out a project when you feel it is not going to work out. Seems I would knit on forever even when I knew it was hopeless.
What's for dinner? I have to think hard as my menu's have been cold weather meals. Stuff like soups and stews. We are now into warmer weather finally. 64 before 8 a.m.

Chicken thighs today, with garlic butter shoved under the skin, sauté pots and veg for himself. Not very hungry but got to be seen eating something. Got some ground lamb out for tomorrow although not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. xx

Good morning, it's a chilly 6C but looks like the sun will be out today. The crazy woodpecker that drills on the metal light standard is back, of course probably a new generation. This is the first time Max has heard it, so all morning he's been growling! I'm being gifted three hydrangea's so today will make a spot for them. The dogwoods are in flower and busting out all over. I usually park my car near one of them, and some "dirty bird" has been leaving deposits all over it this week. Off for my morning walk. Wishing you all a good weekend. xoxo

I have 3 daffodils and 3 dandelions as my signs of spring. You have 3 hydrangea. Spring certainly is here.

Margret, John has just brought little Alex to see me. She’s growing up quick. She’s got them run ragged, knows exactly what butons to press. Haha. She was happy getting my little teddy ornaments down in the carport and playing with them. She’s gone now. Lovely little girl a real live wire. Her daddy was the same when he was the same age. Marg and John are nearly on their knees. Hahaha….

I find it wonderful the way a child can brighten up a day.

Do you google your recipes? Bet there's something wonderful you can do with ground lamb... what's a saute pot, a stir fry? xox

Morning. Seems like Sunday is the day to do laundry. I often do a load a day and will be doing that today just like you all.

When I was growing up we didn't do anything on Sunday's. How things have changed.

Good morning, I get up at 6:30 every morning even if I don't want to.. only to get animals fed, myself presentable, and maybe light the fire and then savour a cup of coffee before walking at 8:00. I catch up on my MSNBC every morning too. I moved four peonies yesterday and took a good dose of Tylenol last night so I would be able to move today! xoxo

Posh for fried up cooked potatoes. Thinking of some Thai burgers with some of the mince, yes I do tend to scour the internet for different recipes. xxx

Nope no woodpecker. But I did see my first robin of the spring earlier this week.

Oh you shortened potato to pot and confused us. I look on internet a lot more than I use to for recipes. The instant pot requires an entire different recipe.

I do the same thing instead of ripping it out right away I convince myself to keep going well i always find what is wrong wayyyy later and end up ripping it out anyway I just had to do that on the cowl I was making for myself and I thought I had dropped a stitch really early on and sure enough lots of knitting later I found I had so I ripped out the needles and sent stitch markers flying, I still have not cast it back on yet!
