If you are logged in, the digest shows topics from only the sections to which you're subscribed, right? That's what I see when I click on latest digest at bottom of this page, and is what I remember from olden days.

Since you don’t use the digest, the “issue” doesn’t affect you and doesn’t seem relevant. But to some of those that do, the change is a negative, and diminishes their enjoyment and time on the forum, period.

1. First, only the sections to which you subscribe are in the list.
2. Second, the topics from anyone on your Ignore List will not be there.
3. Third, that list is updated in real time, not a stale "sampling" of yesterday's news (the Digest).

I will listen to my classic rock and roll music station. I will listen to some CDs that I have. I will listen to my daughter singing and playing her piano.
Since it is very hard to put a piano in the back seat, I have her recordings on CDs too.

I put Jerry on ignore, thinking I wouldn’t get any more of his minutiae and subjective movie and tv recommendations. He’s still here only with the word ignore after his name. I’ve gained nothing. It’s hard to ignore his 90+% listings. I’m sure Jerry is a nice guy, but please, please somebody, something else. Anything!

OK it may irritates you a bit but do you want to deny Jerry his simple pleasure of doing it? Of course he is within his right for doing so.

Must be time for you to post 11 or 13 topics per day of your minutiae and subjective choices of material, so that you can build a section of interest to yourself.
Hardly seems fair to expect Hoggers to come up with acceptable banter material that will defy the age-old characterization:
