Ah, thanks! Appreciate the kind words! They are cuties, though they can also be brats!
Yes, they really can be brats!! When the squirrels in my yard are misbehaving I refer to them as tree rats. There is one rather large one that can jump a good distance and grab onto my triple tube feeder. He then proceeds to eat all the sunflower hearts out of the mesh tube. I have learned not to only fill it about 1/4th full.

I have a bird feeder outside my front door and I watch them feed. I also have squirrels and chipmunks running around too. I put a couple of peanuts in the shell out for them and they disappeared quickly. Put more out and saw that it was starlings that were snapping them up.
Question. Does BAchme stand for Batchelor of Art, Chemical Engineering. I have a daughter with one of those.
That's nice. I love the chipmunks, but I never see them here. I suspect the Hawks grab them. I have suet feeders on my balcony, but since I'm on the third floor, the squirrels don't bother them. Sadly, the Starlings have discovered it, and they aren't my favorite!
Smart daughter! No, but that would be a good handle. Actually, the BA part stands for my initials—Barbara Anne. I do, though, have those BAs—two of them, plus my master's degree in Speech Pathology. Wasn't sure how women were accepted in this forum,so used the intials.
Fun set Barb, especially the first.
Very nice cute series of these occupants.

Nice set. The 2 photos with just the bark missing looks like it closed the door behind itself!
Doesn't it though? It's like there's a secret club behind it. I thought the one squirrel looking at me could be asking: Do you know the password?

Glad you liked. Actually, the first one has a short story written about him.

Thanks, they always peak my curiosity!
Very nice work. Squirrels can be very interesting critters, but can also be a real pain in the butt. As best I can determine, we have eight of them that live in the woods behind my home. My wife goes out every morning and throws 60 or so unsalted peanuts in the shells out in a clearing for them. In a matter of minutes, the peanuts are all gone. They are very combative...trying to get all they can haul off yet keep the others from getting any.
Last week I witnessed a truly unique event. A really big bobcat came running out of the woods and made off with a squirrel. It was the first time I've ever seen a bobcat in those woods.
