Yeah, last month when I got my new hearing aids the doctor cleaned out the wax just fine with miniature instruments and a spray.

Maybe Temu has a spray - "Wax BGone." The device arrived yesterday, and it looks very good.

If your ENT can't get it, order the kick-start model! Good luck.

I spent an unpleasant hour at the doctor's today, while he and a nurse tried to get the wax out of my ear. Ordinarily, it's quick and simple. Not today. I was right at my pain limit, when he said the last bit was too far in for him to keep working at.

I think this is going to be a good investment.

Jerry.
When ever I take a shower I wash my hair and while doing so I tilt my head to each side and wait till my ears fill up.
Then when I use a Q tip to clean out most all the Wax. In doing so I have never had a problem. My DR. just last week when I went for my check-up told me my ears looked fine. Save your money and try this.

When I went to my wife's doctor, one time, he told me my that I was cleaning my ears too well. I then found me another Dr.

I'm afraid that if I get water in my ears, there goes my hearing.

Yep, in my case up until recently water in my ears revived the old fungus infection from Vietnam in the late 60s. I was told once the fungus was in the flesh it could last for decades, and it did.

Fungus never forgets. Lots of diseases remain in our system in some form or other after they are cured. Life on earth is tough.

Shhhhhhhhhhhh! You just reminded me that I was also told it can sometimes go dormant for years then flare up again.

I hope the little fungi aren't paying attention, or are really gone. I hope!

Just checked, I still have some unexpired drops that I got from Kaiser the last time the infection flared up = same ones I got in Nam, just a different bottle and label.

Since PACT changed some of the disability rules, maybe I should ask for a reevaluation. I was told nothing for the ear infections or tinnitus that started when I got the infection in Nam because I didn't file for or have medical records of it from Nam. Who in the name of hell goes to an Evac Hospital in a war zone to complain about noise in the ears caused by a fungus infection or ?? When people around you are getting wounded and dying??? Well I didn't, I just saw a medic. So the guy at VA years ago told me no disability for hearing problems because they weren't documented while I was in country on active duty. In Nam I went in and was directed to a long line to see a Medic, not a Doctor, he just looked, said "yep, you got it, put these in your ears until you rung out" and handed me a dropper bottle and a small pack of cotton swabs to plug my ears. Then on to the next guy in a long line with ear infections. No mention of tinnitus whatsoever and no forms filled out, so the visits by myself and the other guys with ear infections probably didn't even make the medical records except as a note = Saw 33 guys with ear infections. Gave out drops.

Ukulele Symphonies are wonderful. My daughter is a music teacher at St. Bernard’s Catholic Academy. She has an entire group of the little snotters playing these delightful works of music.

Cute. You gotta start 'em young. Keep those ukes for a hundred years, and they'll be worth a fortune. Some $5.00 ukes from the 1920s sell for hundreds.

I'd rather not put any kind of pick into my ear.

Yes...not a pleasant experience. A V.A. Tech (Nurse?) cleaned my ears...once. The water was COLD! Looks like a good investment!
