But, which person had legal status and made an effort at security and which one got documents without legal status and stored or just left them in multiple not very secure or unsecure locations?

A president cannot just simply wave his magic wand and declare something that was classified, as no longer classified. There is a process that needs to be followed and he didn't follow it.
He also didn't "declare" these documents "unclassified", he simply took them which was one thing, but then he refused to return them and lied about having them. He also had his employees move them in an attempt to hide them from the FBI>
He's wrong on all those issues and he needs to spend some time in jail.

The only ones who have ever been convicted are those who were shown to have had criminal intent or obstructed the judicial process. The decisions on Biden and Pence are consistent with that.

Yes, and that will encourage bad actors to remove and retain classified materials and just claim innocence and ignorance.

Yea, sure; got any instances of that turning into criminal cases? The entire process needs to be better defined and tighter just to prevent the bad actors like Trump from using "whatabout" as his defense. It's not working for him, except with MAGA.

Then Biden should be in the next cell over. And probably a large % of Congress, Senate and Gvt Bureaucrats.

The rules, regulations and laws about classified documents are so convoluted it is next to impossible to follow them all.

Once in Vietnam at our HQ my boss, a Lt Colonel started laughing while reviewing some new regulations about documents and then said that he an I had just violated a major rule and could go to Leavenworth Military Prison for it. The document in question; he wrote it and I typed it up, logged and filed it. But by one of the new regulations neither of us was even allowed to see it or touch it without the permission of our next higher HQ.

Surely you can imagine the Trump private living quarters are in a different area than the public area at Mar A Lago. You do have that capability of thought don't you? It makes no difference who packed Trump's boxes just as it doesn't make any difference who packed Biden's boxes. You are correct. It was a year that Trump had been in negotiations over the paperwork. Do you even understand what the hell you just said. There were NEGOTIATIONS regarding Trump having the classified documents. Here is a clue for you. There were NO NEGOTIATIONS about Biden, Pence or Hillary over the documents they had in their possession. Everything Trump did whether you like it or not was apparently approved by those who keep records of who had the documents and as you pointed out there were negotiations going on with Trump. I suspect if the weaponized corrupt DOJ had simply said negotiations are over. We are coming on Tuesday morning to collect all documents they would have been able to do so. Going in with numerous agents is nothing more than a political ploy of the Left trying to show Trump as not cooperating. You know this and yet continue to post bullshit.
