I sold a camera the other day, along with some other gear and a camera back pack the other day to a gentleman. When he handed me the cash we both counted it out and the deal was sealed. As he left, I counted it again and found I had miscounted the amount. I ran outside to alert him, but he didn’t see me as he started to drive off. It cost me $100.00, but left me wiser. Count it once, twice, and then a third time. Somehow we both miscounted. I did contact him via FB Messenger and he said he’d like to make it right, but we’ll see. He lives in Anchorage so we are 40+ miles apart. It’s a hard lesson, and partly my fault. I buy and sell LOTS of STUFF, this is NOT uncommon problem, SOMETIMES I GIVE more money and the BUYER corrects it - I am thankful to the buyer [ he was checking to make SURE he got want he wanted mostly, but I have never had a buyer NOT return the money ] ... AT your age, I say ... be at peace you are still UP and about and found someone who wanted to buy it at all... good luck
