thanks for the info. just had an 11x14 print made at a photo shop the exposure came out perfect. after i returned home and viewed my shots i realalized i should have turned the camera to horizontal. i think i was to excited to capture the pictures to think about it. thanks again ron
A verticle crop to include the reflection should be experimented with.
Good compo. The birds have athe right elements of 3 which is implied twice by the branches on which they perch. The multiple direction is also a good repeat
Don't fret the exposure it is easilt corrected cause digitals capture a wide range.
Randy (above) is right about exposure settings - for film.
But with digital we often use auto exposure, sometimes not realizing the fact. In that case if it picks the white you need to increase exposure to darken whites. Lots of folk mess up snow scenes by thinking 'logically'.
