That potential bankruptcy filing needs to pass approval of the court appointed monitor, as well as the bankruptcy court.

Because of the multiple business entities and individuals involved in the Civil Case, it'll be a complicated bankruptcy filing Hail Mary attempt.

It's a longshot at best, but it's likely to fail.

I was merely responding to his comment (as stated many times by spokespersons from our current administration) that we are doing much better than the rest of the world. We are certainly doing better than most but according to what I have read there are several European countries below 1% on Q4, 2023 (i.e. Italy and Finland).

Spoken like a true criminal Trump protege/follower! He was tried and convicted in a court of law. He can appeal if he can find funding, but I am very skeptical as to where the funding might come from, given that US Banks won't lend him much and Deutsche Bank has stopped doing business with him also.
As my mother always said "You make your bed, you lie in it!" He has brought this hell down on himself along with his other legal issues. Just look at all of his former cabinet, staff, etc that have attempted to blow the horn about this moron if he gets a 2nd chance to dismantle this country.
