Really nice.

Thanks for stopping by, Ken. People with your set of skills are generally attracted to cars and other mechanical things of that period.

That's an absolute truth, Don. When I stand there and scrutinize the detail and the quality of assembly evident in a restoration of this caliber....it just blows my mind.

I'm talking real old....like 1905

Buick started production in 1904. They produced a car with a two cylinder engine and a single chain drive system. It was identified as Model B. There are no known survivors of a Model B.

For 1905, Buick released the Model C...the car shown here. It was a virtually identical car to the Model B. They produced a total of 750 cars in 1905. Only 14 of those are known to exist. This engine has 159 C.I. with two opposed cylinders. It makes 22 HP.

When new, it sold for $1200. That got you the car, 2 oil side lamps, tail lamp, horn, and tool kit. Best in download

Nice set of images Tom. I'm a fan of old Buicks too. Got an image of a 1910 version of this car. Not much change in the following 5 years. I'll PM you an image of it.

I got your PM, Reuss. Thanks for doing that. As I commented to you in responding to your PM, It wasn't until 1911 that any real changes to the basic architecture of the car changed. I appreciate you doing that.

Excellent set, Tom. When you said older Buicks, I thought you meant 50s to 70s Buicks, not ancient ones that were way before my time, LOL.

Excellent photos. These were masterpieces of craftsmanship. Those leather seats are beautiful. Obviously you wouldn't take this car out in bad weather.
