Impossible to sell an asset in 7 days. Escrow alone would take up at least 30 days.

Trump knew this was coming for some time now. He is ignorant and arrogant, but those are not excuses for not knowing the tornado that he was facing!

I doubt that he could foretell exactly how hard the judge would hit him. I believe that he will win on appeal but he needs to make bond before the appellate court will even consider it.

At my age, I think I'm pretty safe in saying that I've been playing the long ticket for many more years than you. And quite successfully, I might add.

No, don't waste your time because you're obviously not capable of understanding just what has been taking place world wide and the effects on economies. Politics inhibit many from seeing any further than their johnson.

[quote=DennyT]” Trump faces 'insurmountable difficulties' in securing $464M bond in civil fraud case, his attorneys say

A few weeks ago here I advised that Trump would have extreme difficulty in getting a bond anymore in that amount. The capacity either doesn't exist or the domestic admitted (licensed) market would be unwilling to risk their capital given some of Trumps issues in the past (Trump Taj, etc,). This is an article on how he stiffed investors:
https://www.cnn.com/2016/10/05/politics/donald-trump-atlantic-city-finances/index.html

and how he stiffed contractors:
https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/columnists/mike-kelly/2020/01/24/donald-trump-still-owes-money-to-contractors-who-built-taj-mahal-atlantic-city/4547037002/

Bankers/Insurance markets have a very, very long memory when they get stiffed.

His current financing is through Deutsche Bank.

Melania's going to be mad if she has to move out of Trump Tower. Does hell hath no fury like a women that has to move out of a NY Penthouse?

b ” Trump faces 'insurmountable difficulties' in ... (show quote)

That should have come as surprise. Years ago American banks refused to do business with him so he went to his some in law fif a deal with Deutsch bank BUT now they have cut him off also .
What is that biblical saying ?

“ The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Could not be true in the case of trump.
