Don't know that one. I'd say not many if any.

Well given time, and more users maybe we can start that new forum for just LB's .
Just a thought for down the road.
:)
Good idea...and we'll expect JR1 to be the moderator LOL

Thanks Dirtpusher .. I'll check that out.
I have rented one a couple of times from lensprotogo.com. It's fun to play with when I placed my order they called me (unexpected) and gave me a quick lesson on how best to use it.
Back in the day I would put lotion or petroleum jelly on a clear filter leaving a small area open. It gave a similar effect. Soft focus on the edges and a nice focused area in the middle.
Lens baby is just a lot neater

How in the heck do you use a Lensbaby and what's it good for? Is it a worthwhile investment?
Go to their Web site and you will see how to use it. Also lots of impressive images. One of my camera club members has also posted impressive pics taken with Lensbaby stuff.
http://lensbaby.com/I own a set of their first generation model, but have never gotten around to using it. Lends itself to lots of selective focus methods and some things you might do with a more expensive Tilt and Shift lens.
I met a young photographer that showed me how to use his LB and it seemed fun to try..in fact he even let me use his lens on my camera..but when I checked out the price I figured it wasn't worth the investment for something that can also be done in post editing..
Beautiful pics!!! I love my lens baby, and I use it often. I would love a new lens baby forum. You are able to get unique soft pictures without all the processing.
I have the Composer and use it, mostly for when I am looking for a particular effect. I enjoy using it but don't think I have fully explored it's capabilities. So many ideas so little time!
I have a Lensbaby Composer with Macro fliters which I won in a macro contest.. I found it very frustrating at first but now like it. I don't use it that often though..

I own a few of them. I purchased a Sweet 35 a while back so I didn't have to change out the aperture discs for my Canon EOS 5D MKII. I also have the Composer, fisheye, double glass and pinhole optics for use on my Sony NEX-7. I kind of like them. For the money, they're not a bad investment.
Maybe they are boring to boring people. Sorry I just had to say that. I found they are a fun lens but I have never used mine on a shoot. Not enough time or confidence to do it. I have messed with taping aux tele and wide angle lenses. I have a set made for Polaroid that almost fits and a "lifesizer" closeup filter I have. Lots more fun than setting at a boring (again had to say it) computer doing PP. - Dave
Don't happen to be one myself but love what you've done
with it.
