Without extra pay, many employees would have received less than 50% of pay for a shorter period of time. The amount should have been lower given the final tallies.

I am a conservative Old School Republican but the new republicans have gone to far right and refuse to follow the democratic ideal of compromise and working together. They come up with a Border Policy lead by a very Conservative republican from Ok and everyone gave a little, it passes Senate and then Dumb Ass Trump the Criminal gives the word for political reasons to stop the bill and my Spineless Republican Congress changes their mind and stop it. I have had several business encounters with Trump and I can tell you he is a liar, cheap, only out for himself, and can't be trusted. I can not believe anyone with morals or a conscience could want him to represent our country. He coddles up to the communist, screwed the Ukraine because they wouldn't lie for him, accomplished very little like our republican House and is like always, all bluster, speaking at a fifth grade intellect. I wonder what the basis of these "studies" is. What is the baseline? What are the comparable statistics? Where are they being gathered? What immigrant "groups" are being referred to? Who is conducting the study? Etc. Etc.
