Advance Camera in Portland, OR, has good recommendations. 503-292-6996. I was in touch with them for work on my Kodak Retina. Their CLA price was around $200. (If the meter doesn't work, but the rest of the camera does, it is still a fine camera and can be used to take great photos. I wouldn't spend much on metering problems these days.)

Unless the camera has a lot of sentimental value and can't be replaced otherwise I would simply buy a fully functional camera for less than $100. A technician can't do an honest CLA for $100 and make a living doing it.

I’m looking for a recommendation for someone to CLA my vintage Nikkormat FTn. I believe the meter will need attention as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend Zacks Camera Repair. He’s done probably a dozen cameras for me and stands behind his work.

Was that necessary?

Absolutely! Ive been shooting since the early 90s and before now, CLA was “???” to me. Good advice is always use the words with the acronym in parentheses, then freely use the acronym. 🤔🥴

CLA might help reduce body fat deposits and improve immune function. The average diet supplies 15-174 mg of CLA daily. People commonly take CLA by mouth for weight loss. It is also often used for bodybuilding and fitness, but there is limited scientific evidence to support these uses.

Overview
The second-most affordable car in the Mercedes lineup, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA is a small four-door sedan with a sleek coupe-style look. A fastback roofline signals sporty intentions, and with more than 400 horsepower, the CLA can indeed get sporty. Inside, the CLA delivers the features, tech and classy feel that buyers expect from Mercedes. A budget Benz, this is not. For 2024, the CLA does some catching up, adding new standard features and more power to boost its appeal alongside capable rivals. The vibrant new Hyper Blue color is also a welcome splash in an otherwise monochromatic palette.

It stands for Clean, Lube and Adjust. But a lot of time it's doing nothing.
