Thursday was a very sad day for us. We had to put out wonderful companion, Nelly, down after 16 years. Here are some photos of her taken over the years.
Nelly is waiting for you to join her on the Rainbow Bridge. She is most patient.
I am sorry for your loss.
I can understand your feelings. I had a female cat that stayed with me for 15 years and I had to put her down because of renal failure. I suffered the loss and still, even when it has been several years since her death, I miss her. Occasionally, when I think of her tears come to my eyes.
We all have to depart one day but as human beings that we are we have feelings.
I am sorry for your lost.
My condolances! I have one that looks very much like that.
These are nice photos of Nelly, and undoubtedly, you have some wonderful memories of her. I can relate to what you most likely are experiencing, as we have lost a number of dogs throughout the years. There is no doubt that our dogs enhance our lives, and they will be missed when gone. I am sorry that Nelly is no longer physically with you.
I'm so sorry. Losing a beloved pet is difficult. Take comfort in knowing you provided her a home filled with love. The heartache will fade, but the memories will live forever.

It's always a sad day when you loose a "member of the family". We lost our black lab Chilly several years ago, but she came back as a white labradoodle, Ruby. And then my wife lost a Chiwawa Polmoranian, Ginger, and she came back as a black labradoodle. Funny how they check out for a little bit but, if you allow it, they return.
Sorry for your loss, your memories look to be great.
Very difficult time. Nelly looks like she brought much joy to the family. Beautiful pup.
Condolences for you. Nelly was a beautiful pup. Remember all the fun she gave you
RIP, Nelly. Mike, she was a great looking pup, so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a pet, they are a part of the family, in fact, they are family.
My condolences. It is so hard.

Putting an animal down is always a difficult decision. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that ordeal. It's obvious that you provided a loving and caring home for her and you gave her the best life that she could have ever hoped for. Many animals aren't so fortunate.
