It's highly unlikely that thinking adding a little distilled water to a poisoned well will make that well safe and better.
Those who choose to stay out of the Attic, maybe prefer to use their distilled water where it actually can have a possibility of usefulness.
The fact that keeping bad company corrupts good morals has probably not ceased to exist, but as time goes on, it seems there is increasing willingness to give it less consideration.

On the other hand. I'd say most of the posters in the Attic buckle their belt below their navel. I'd say quite the opposite about Chit-Chat posters. Explains a lot.

Linda, you being one of the most respected members on UHH I will reply here to hopefully clear up the post OP spoke of, I believe it was mine. SO:
Now I NEED to explain something in regard to a comment made about my post.
I AM NOT criticizing, 'disssing' or bad mouthing the Attic at all.
As I had said, I see why it is there so people can go there carry on those discussions and act the way they do.
I believe in free speech and expression and they should be grateful that the admin(s) do not delete those replies and comments.
So I was commenting on CERTAIN members who were acting this was. I do think there are good ones in there and good replies too but I am not going to spend time there.
But I was commenting on the ones pissing at each other.
I did not think this post would go this far but hey ???
The owners of this site also manage a politically centered forum like UHH,looks just like UHH actually. One of our members pointed this out sometime back and I found it and looked but not long so I cannot comment on it but it is a place for these kind of discussions. So they have play room to do that stuff, I did not spend any time there, just poked my head in to see what it is.

I commented on the new format of picking the area we want to look at when the change was made to selecting a single topic. It was much better and he choice of topics was much broader. Some topics even disappear if nothing new is posted. PLEASE go back to the original format.

I'll guess you mean The Digest format and not the UHH format.
