There was a recent post in Chit-Chat about the Attic.
Now, about Chit-Chat. There was a time when I read just about every post in Chit-Chat and they changed daily. Now, not so much. I don't read many and they hardly change from day to day.

Are you using the website or the digest? If you are using the digest, try switching to the website for more variety.

No, I'm not using the digest. I pull up the Chit-Chat section itself on a daily basis and have since 2011.

It was just a thought. I comment and post in Chit-Chat, but my go to section is Main Photography Discussion, so I really haven’t noticed a change in Chit-Chat. I subscribe to Chit-Chat so I see when something is posted there, but I only read posts that catch my interest.

I cannot understand how you could be a member of UHH since 2011 and not have noticed the difference in Chit-Chat between then and now. It boggles the mind. Chit-Chat used to be a wild and crazy place.

Chit-Chat is not the main focus of my interest. Photography is. It boggles my mind that someone would join a photography blog then spend a large portion of their time in sections like Chit-Chat and/or The Attic instead of photography related sections.

Longshadow....There is a thread on Chit-Chat about the Attic in which the Attic is pretty well dissed. Fine. The Attic has a lot of problems but at least there is discussion going on, but I don't see the people calling it a dumpster fire participating in the Attic. So why even comment or have a thread about it? So, turnabout is fair play, 'cause Chit-Chat has become plumb boring.

I don’t breath, eat, and poop photography. But if I belonged to a political group it wouldn’t be to discuss the merits of different types of lenses.

Then they should remove General Chit-Chat?
