I think I see a kindred spirit - you like all the racing cars, perhaps lean toward those classes that visually represent known marquees, and probably were disappointed that the Corvettes didn’t finish any higher. I’m always interested in seeing the GM products do good, and I guess I’m a little disappointed that the mid-engine models didn’t immediately become all-conquering.

Thank you all for the kind words. Yes, I had a great time (spent 18 hrs total at the race - too old to go without some sleep), and yes, I was disappointed that the Corvette teams didn't finish better. One thing I've always wondered about when shooting races and whatnot is how many "keepers" should one expect from all of the shots taken? I took 1,873 pics at the Rolex and ended up with 19.7% as keepers. I'm feeling that's higher than usual so I'm happy with that.
