Yes! I have three different cameras and three different cables with very minute differences. If I just want to download from one camera it is a lot faster to pop out the memory card and pop it in a card reader than it is to figure out which cable I want.

Years ago purchased a Lexar workflow. Unfortunately they no longer produce them. Each station holds 4 modules. They hold a SSD, CF reader, USB reader, SD reader, micro card reader. For a phone you can just plug it in. It was an investment and not the cheapest but convenient. Each module was sold separate, each can be used separate (cable included) or inserted into the station. Been using it for over 5 years with no issues. It sits on my desk and takes up little space maybe 4"X6". Would rather use a reader than plugging in my cameras, it's faster. Lexar also makes a card reader that reads CF and SD cards that I use when I'm not near my desktop.

I've had good experiences with Acer, Lexar, Sandisk, and Anker in the past. This one should work:

Yes, I have something similar that I use with my wife's MacBook Air as it does not have a built-in card reader, while my MacBook Pro does.

I got a super duper 40TB drive with auto backup that comes with a card reader. Very convenient.

Interested in your 40TB hard drive. Is it SSD? or a spinning disk? Please respond.

I had a TR-3 and LOVED it! I could put out a cigarette by scraping it on the road!
