A lot of initial fog. Had to wait for some time before it lifted enough so that I could take hand held photos.

Really nice set! I think foggy conditions make a lot of scenes more photogenic. I'm not surprised there was no one sitting on those benches, that would be a chilly rest!

Many thanks, Vaun! You are right. I have taken many photos out in my favorite park, early in the morning before the fog has lifted. It has added an attractiveness to many of the images. Yes, sitting on one of those benches would indeed be a chilly rest

Many thanks, BigQ! I was using my Nikon D7200 (DX) camera with a 10 - 20 mm (DX) f4.5 - f5.6 VR (vibration reduction) lens. All at ISO (2000) with apertures of f7.1 or f8. The speed varied somewhat. The first image was shot with the lens at 14 mm (21mm ff), aperture f7.1 at 1/6 of a sec. The 4th one at 20 mm, f8 at 1/8 of a sec. I had my tripod along, but with the VR lens I feel that unless I am aiming for a shot that I might eventually want to print, I can get reasonable results by pushing the ISO and handholding the camera.

Great shots for handheld at those shutter speeds! VR sure does help.
Magnificent light and colors.
