Many thanks, BigQ! I was using my Nikon D7200 (DX) camera with a 10 - 20 mm (DX) f4.5 - f5.6 VR (vibration reduction) lens. All at ISO (2000) with apertures of f7.1 or f8. The speed varied somewhat. The first image was shot with the lens at 14 mm (21mm ff), aperture f7.1 at 1/6 of a sec. The 4th one at 20 mm, f8 at 1/8 of a sec. I had my tripod along, but with the VR lens I feel that unless I am aiming for a shot that I might eventually want to print, I can get reasonable results by pushing the ISO and handholding the camera.
