Oh well $90,000 is a lot but a gasoline power pickup truck could cost the same.
Yeah Maybe - I never knew Lotus and Ferrari made pickup trucks??
Fully equipped GMC Sierra or Ford F150 Raptor prices are about $100,000.

Reading some articles yesterday about the EV owners complaining about their vehicles ruining their tires due to the weight. They are discovering that the May 2023 report that electric vehicles go through tires 30% faster than gas-powered vehicles is accurate and are not happy about it.
Many cities are now confirming reports (CNN 2021) that the EV weight is a safety issue and that maintaining roads is getting more expensive.
Seems there are no forward looking folks when it comes to big profits -

Weight wouldn't be a problem if people realized you don't need to drive around with 50% space / loading capacity you'll never use. A Volkswagen ID3 (77kWh) for example is not heavier than a modern pickup truck or MPV.
Here in Southern Oregon I too have seen many of these trucks. My first awareness of the brand and truck, is from a reality documentary from 2019 on Apple TV called ‘A Long Way Up’. About a team embarking on a 13,000 mile journey from the southern most point in South America to Los Angles, Ca. Using A Prototype EV Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and having a Rivian EV Truck as the chase vehicle. Despite the issues of many EV’s on the road, these trucks are here.

Wow… that’s a lot of money, $18,720.00 less than my Silverado, and I got a deal.

Used to pull horse trailers with my pickup; 2000 Ford SuperDuty w/the 7.3 diesel turbo. One of the best Ford engines ever made. Their later diesels; so-so. Still got mine; but with the price going up on that popular engine, I may just sell it, since I no longer pull anything.
Now … THAT is a great truck, and an even better engine. I worked for Ford Motors Co, and owned a 2000 with the 7.3 that motor is a IH NAVSTAR T444E by International. Aka 7.3. But no more, I am now very satisfied with my 2023 3500 Duramax.

Lamborgini makes a truck
But that's not a $100,000. It's more like $250,000. $100,000 is Chevy and Ford price.
I was behind one myself weeks ago. I had to Google the name. I saw it was made by a startup company. I agree the price is way too high for most people.

I was driving behind a Rivian truck yesterday. I had never heard of that brand. It seems very risky to buy a new brand of EV. Even the big-name car makers are having trouble selling their EVs
https://rivian.com/Quite a few Rivians here in the south where I live along with many, many Teslas, Nissan Leafs and others. Since Tesla dropped the price on their base models, they are everywhere. I have at least two neighbors that have Teslas.

Have you priced a gasoline Lexus SUV lately? Usually $90K+ and a waiting list.
New USA company, starts with quality, USA build, then prices accordingly.

To be honest, Red6, no, I have not priced a Lexus SUV. We, (my wife and I,) are very happy with our 2017 Hyundai, Tucson. LOL, at my age, why bother with a new car...
