Every successful photographer is driven by an inner voice telling them Canon is the better camera.

Nobody cares what you "don't like". I don't like lima beans. No one cares about that either.
The OP asked for opinions on cameras. The fact that you don't like lima beans is irrelevant.
I don't like Alabama, either.

And some folks still wonder why these threads are so long.
For the most part, but not always, anything beyond page 3 is of little real value.
Of course some of it is from the folks who repeat themselves several times for fear someone might miss their pearls of wisdom.

It’s just as relevant as you saying “I don’t like Canon”. His comment was just as helpful.

I think you just really dont understand lima beans, especially relative to the other beans available. Perhaps youre living in the past ?
It's the "human beans" that really have me confused.

But what about the lima beans ?!?

Amen to page three.
Some thread authors express their indignant sense of ownership over "their" thread, trying to keep it on topic as it strays off into multiple tangents and arguments. I often remind them that, per UHH Sacred Tradition, their "authors copyright" expires after page three.
As youve pointed out, whatever can possibly be resolved gets resolved by page 3, or else by never. (BTW, wecome to page 10.)

Perhaps consider renting each one and trying them on what you like to shoot. Seems it could be money well spent and you would then have the answer as to what fits you best.
Do you rent before you buy ? And has renting helped you by avoiding what would have been a wrong purchase ?

Rentals have helped me confirm the validity of some of my thinking. Surely, for some, it would help invalidate some of their faulty thinking. Alas, those who need this wake-up call the most likely won't try this route.

Don't know much about beans, but Lens rentals out of Tennessee is the " cat's Meow " for renting lenses.. If you are going to spend big bucks on a lens, why not spend a few little bucks to confirm your critical thinking and research was valid or not ?

In my experience, if there is truly a "need" for a lens (or anything else), there is no need to ask anyone else what to do or what to choose or what to buy. The choice will be obvious, or can be made to become obvious with a little research.
I have amassed a few lenses over the years. Exactly three of them were chosen based on a specific need. The first was my Nikkor 17-55 mm f/2.8 zoom which was a very necessary replacement for my very first digital camera lens...an 18-70mm Nikkor junker that was forever useless right out of the box. A little research and a couple of questions at the camera store led directly to the solution.
The second was a Nikkor 14-24 mm f/2.8 wide angle needed for a night sky workshop. For that, I needed a fast lens with a wide view and manageable distortion for stitching panoramas. Again, a little research and a quick to a different (although admittedly less helpful) camera store led to an obvious choice. The third time was when I needed a macro lens to take some photographs at work.
In each of those cases, I could have made a different choice. It would have also solved my problem. The world would not have ended, although it is possible that I might have been a little less happy at some point.
I don't do what other people do. There's nothing about anything I do that requires that I make other people happy. I don't care what they think about what I choose.
Be a little bit brave. Make a choice. Move forward. Quit looking sideways and backward.

People generally buy what they have the kit for, or what they are used to using. If you have 8 lenses for Nikon, you will buy Nikon. And eventually, Nikon will eclipse Canon in features. It swings back and forth.
I have never bought Nikon in 55 years of filming. I bought Sony in the very early years of digital because Canon had not decided it was a real thing yet.
And so whatever the original poster’s current lens set is, will largely determine what they buy, unless they are made out of money.
