When you want the most from your car's air conditioner, you set it to Recirculate. Wouldn't the same thing work with the car's heater? Instead of heating the 20° air from outside to 70°, the heater would be maintaining the 70° air inside the car. Of, course, you could switch it to Fresh Air occasionally.
Jerry, one thing you might think about.
Most all cars have a cabin air filter.
If they have had a lot of use they will limit the air flow.
Being a retired A/C servicer I realize this.
Different brands and models put them any where design allows them to be. (me & my wife) bought a Chevy Blazer back in 2019.
I checked and found where mine was & bought a filter from our dealer.
I changed ours a long of time before the mfg.'s. recommendation.
What came out on the filter was that it needed it done. Plus I didn't have to pay the dealer to do it.
Hope this helps.

Like cars are airtight......
Right. I would imagine that if cars were air tight, your ears would go ouch when someone shut the last door.

Perhaps. But, modern cars have cabin air filters.

Yes, heated seats here in CA are a good thing, but remote start is what I use to heat up the engine and inside the car before I get in it.

Yea, my wife's car has remote start also...
Unfortunately, my car has neither.

And lucky you, you don't have to pay subscription fee to make them work.

Mine has remote start also. I just turn the. key 1/4 turn and by magic the engine starts.

My vehicle company, Acura, had a navigation system update subscription that I never bought into. It’s easier to use the iPhone app.

Yeah, but that button on the fob can be used inside the house, where it’s warm. And when I get to the car, it too is warm.

Ahhh, I would not call that remote start...
Now if my wife went out and started it for me,
that MIGHT be considered remote start......
Some cars when you get too close to the white line on the left , the left side of your driver's seat will begin to vibrate.if you get too close to the white line on the right side that seat will vibrate on the right side.

True, but they don't filter the exhaust fumes from the car in front of you, if you're using outdoor air.
We generally don't have the problem with moist air in Arizona, except during monsoon season.
