a few in Oregon is Multnomah Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Latourell Falls, Horsetail Falls, Punch Bowl Falls. South & North falls, Salt Creek falls (second highest single drop waterfall, cascading 286 feet ) just to name a few. They are all worth seeing even if you only get to see one or two of them

https://rockymtnrefl.com/photography-workshops/olympic-workshop.htmlLooks like a nice itinerary. You are going to Port Angeles and Forks. You get to drive over two amazing bridges to get to Port Angeles. One suspends and one floats. Don't have your camera in the trunk and be alert for a photo spot you can pull into.
Early July weather is a little risky. Only about half of my 4th of July celebrations have been in clear weather. Bring something so that you can use your cameras in inclement weather.
If it were me, I would get to Port Angeles a couple days early and go to Victoria. There is a big boat that goes back and forth between Port Angeles and Victoria every day. As a walk on, you go for cheap. At the Victoria end, it is an easy short walk to a variety of hotels. Spend a night or two. Victoria is special for photographers, eaters, shoppers, historians and everyone else.
The Puget Sound area is so unique, that you should consider a scenic flight. I used to pilot those out of Gig Harbor's Tacoma Narrows Airport. You pass by there after you cross the big suspension bridge. The scenery (on nice days) is so good, I never had an unhappy customer. Most were so thrilled that I got tips exceeding my pay!
I highly recommend Mt. Rainier--both the Paradise and Sunrise areas. But if you want to overnight in Paradise you may already be out of luck--rooms get reserved many months in advance. There are no rooms to rent at Sunrise--you will have to stay outside the park. Also, if you go, the very early bird gets the worm--parking lots at both locations fill up quickly in the morning. Once the parking lot at Sunrise fills up they close the road.

For the Sunrise side, the closest lodging might be the Crystal Mountain ski resort. It stays open in the summer. Riding the gondola to the top for a view and restaurant view is the third great tourist spot along with Paradise and Sunrise.
About an hour east of Port Angeles is the lovely town of Port Townsend.
They have a Festival of the American Fiddle from July 1 to 8. Might be on your way.
You can wander around the boat shops or shoot around the water. Just outside town is a state park and a beach if you are up for a swim.

The state park at Port Townsend is "Fort Warden". They have a wide variety of reservable lodging. Most if not all are historic preservation building.

The loop trail of Silver Falls state park, east of Salem OR, goes past at least a dozen falls including two where the trail goes behind the falls.

In Olympic Park Sol Duc falls and Marymere Falls are accessible and lovely. If you have a day or two take ferry trip to lovely San Juan islands esp Orcas and San Juan islands. North of Seattle.

Since you mentioned waterfalls, consider the Dry Falls, here is a link to the state parks Visitor Center for the Dry Falls:

There are some great waterfall opportunities in the Hoh River Rainforest area, entered from the west side of the park.

Yes Victoria BC Canada! Quaint. And above all Bouchart Gardens. Unblieveably beautiful.
