So I am looking at an item on Amazon. It states the seller is Adorama. I have never purchased anything from Adorama. Free shipping and free returns via Amazon is a benefit. Would anyone share their experience please. I did a search on Adorama but the posts were old. Thanks.

I do like Amazon's return, cancel & shipping policy. But when itsa third party selling you're sometimes bound by their return policy, which happened to me.
That said, the few times I've purchased from Andorama it has been quite good.

If you go through Amazon, you can’t lose.
They really stand behind their policies.

Unfortunately, it has in recent years become a part of the "American" English lexicon. It is a speech habit that is pretty annoying to more educated speakers of the language, just as the habitual use of the phrase, "you know" (or worse, "don't you know") became common decades ago. It's use alerts others that the speaker is now going to say or ask something. If my father were still alive, he would do all in his power to make sure I didn't start verbal thoughts or questions with the word. Typically it is more common in spoken than in written language usage.
Unfortunately, it has in recent years become a par... (show quote)

I have not noticed it much. I may use it in narratives. For "pure" English you'll have to look to Canada, Hong Kong, or Great Britain for the King's English. America is full of regionalisms. I've always lived in CA my parents were from NY state. Even those of us with Teaching Credentials are not perfect. But my major was Biology, not English. The UHH is international, live with it!

Adorama is a solid source and they private-label many of the products they sell. By the way, "free shipping" means the cost of shipping is included in the sales price. You do pay for it. It is a marketing ploy to appeal to buyers we all like to get free things.

Why not deal with Adorama directly and skip Amazon?

Indeed, why not. There will be no problem with Adorama.

My experience with FedEx has not been good.
Just hoping it arrives undamaged and on time. Why such a reputable company like B&H would use FedEx is a mystery.

Not positive about this but if I remember correctly FedEx is the default shipper for B&H, but I believe you have the option of selecting another carrier (like UPS) when you place your order online.

I’ve used Adorama and their Photo print business, Printique, many times over the years. You can trust them.

You could buy directly on Adorama's website just as easily. If you have a B and H credit card, they will absorb the sales tax and ship for free if you pay within the billing cycle. Certain restrictions may apply.

I have used both with no serious issues. Amazon seems to be faster on shipping.

Personal experience... They're great and have excellent customer service.
Years ago, I called them about a promotion I heard about. They told me that it had expired but they would honor it. They saved me $500. when they didn't have to!
