Since they don't take returns, guess you'll just have to sigh and live with it. You can just go to Staples if you need those office supplies right away, or re-order them from Amazon. (Who knows? They just might send you a Z180-600 zoom by mistake..: )

Good advice, ELNikkor. Wow, that Z180-600 would sure be fun to use.

Good story. I'll share one of mine. It was the Better Half's birthday so I gave her a new bowling ball. When she opened it, she said "The finger holes are way too big for me". I told her that I wanted it to be a surprise and I did not have her hand to have it fitted so I used mine. Then she said, "But the bowling ball also has your name engraved on it". I told her that I had my name put on it so she would always remember it was a gift from me. Then she said, "But I don't even bowl...!"

Well, I told her that I could not take it back now that it was drilled so I will just have to use it myself when I bowl with the guys. Do you have any idea how cold it is to sleep outside during the winter? 😁
Good story. I'll share one of mine. It was the Bet... (show quote)

I love your story.

You seriously said 'wifey"?

I meant it in an affectionate way. I just checked out the term and see it could mean the opposite too so thanks for informing me. I'll not use that term in the future. My wife is a great person. BTW, interesting how much we learn on this great forum, even at my age (80).

Another great story Bohica. I''m thinking we could put that into the category: What goes around comes around :).

My favorite line when my wife would ask, "Is that a new (whatever)?" "Oh, I've had this for quite a while." Define "quite a while." 😁

Amazing how some will read beyond the headline and first sentence, think, comprehend and then appreciate before responding. Yet others ………

By all means, spend $49 for the John Greengo video series.

Hi Jerry,

I see your recommendation for the John Greengo video series on the Z8. I'm watching him on Youtube, his style seems like a good style for learning for me. How do you find the series, very helpful?

Cheers, ~Kevin

Being a new Nikon Z8 owner, I have to ask all of you that own Nikon mirrorless cameras: Did you purchase with the adapter (like I did) so you could use your prior F mount lenses? Next question........did you purchase some Z lenses anyhow and how do you like them compared to the F lenses with adapter? Many thanks..............

I only have 1 lens left from my DSLR a 70-200 f2.8 FL ED so the answer is yes I bought the FTZ adapter. The Z lenses are lighter and the camera and lens setup is smaller without the FTZ.

Thanks, Kevin.M I'm not surprised at your answer. I'm thinking of selling my F-mount 24-70G and some others and buy the Z 24-70 2.8 S. Don't know whether to keep or not my G-mount 70-200E FL ED
