Welcome to Day 357 of the Daily Challenge. Today's challenge is 'A Picture Tells a Thousand Words.' Show us your photos that tell a special story, or spoke to you through raw emotion. I can't wait to see your creative responses!

It is incredibly cold today in Georgia, USA, with a bitter wind that can take your breath away and also threatens to blow cars right off the interstate. I wasn't able to shoot many fresh new photos today. I also won't be available to comment until very late. I wish you all a great Saturday, and for those of you who still have shopping to do, stay safe and warm!

My submission from today is from the dinner I shot at the Ronald McDonald House Long Island last month since I am still recovering from surgery on Tuesday.
The day of the shoot just touched me in so many ways, as I saw so many children making the best of their situation as they were staying at the 'House' because they needed to be close to the hospital where they were going through all kinds of treatment.
Each picture has it's own story and I hope that it is obvious that even some of the youth are caring and loving to children who have to endure tough days.

Misplaced word.......No such thing..... Remember hamtrack, a weed is just a flower growing in another place but no less beautiful! quote=hamtrack]Sorry about the misplaced words, but you all will get the meaning anyway.[/quote]

A couple from MIssouri. The first one is a painting of the Missouri River bridge at Jefferson City, Mo. It's a view from the new Federal Court house. The second one is the new Federal Court house. A picture I took recently. I have thought that they should be hanging together, but there is only one painting.

I think I'm going to print the picture the same size as the painting and frame it like the painting.

I have three originals paintngs from the person who did the painting. I offered to buy this one but she gave it to the Federal court for the courthouse.

The last picture took me a minute to figure out. I was shopping with my wife and heard something behind me. Hope it doesn't upset anyone.

A bunch of kids acting where a large group of people were strolling. Kinda of like a flash dance. I thought she was hurt for a second and then realized the "blood" was not touching her head. After a minute she got up and walked to a different spot and then laid down again. I shot some pictures, after that she got up and went with her friends to a different location.
