I received a call one afternoon from the director of Cheshire's Art's Place. She asked if I would be willing to allow our dogs to participate in a photo shoot for a children's historical book! Wow, I was so surprised and excited to have the honor. The following pictures were take by myself or Bill during several photo shoots that ensued. The book is in it's final stages as we speak. There will also be an oil painting- hung in the famous artist's original home in the center of town. John Frederick Kensett was his name.

Great call today. Since I have my halls already stuffed, (only the boned turkey left to stuff with a boned duck stuffed with a boned quail with a gold wrapped quails egg (Ssshh.. that's the surprize!) and all is calm, all is bright and am then I am ready for Santa.) and no driveway to free from snow either.....Probably the only UHH reader with time to blather on today! Shame every one else too busy to read my sterling sentences....! Every pic is at least a 1000 words. Even, or perhaps especially if it is less than perfect. The story still gets told. Am also keen on pictures that tell stories because of the words of letters threin. Hemingway was once asked if he could write a novel in six words. Took him less than a blink of an eye. Anyway dear other unbusy person, and the rest of you,Happy Holidays. Cheers! Modest.

It is incredibly cold today in Georgia, USA, with a bitter wind that can take your breath away and also threatens to blow cars right off the interstate. I wasn't able to shoot many fresh new photos today. I also won't be available to comment until very late. I wish you all a great Saturday, and for those of you who still have shopping to do, stay safe and warm!

Good ones
You must remember this, A kiss is just a kiss, A sigh is but a sigh---As Time Goes By
They Said It Wouldn't Last
55 Years Later---Strong and Counting!
Maybe not quite a thousand, but certainly some stories. We had a good friend in Chicago who had a quite doll house made and it sat in her den. Over the years she added various items of furniture and a family. She made up stories about what had happened to the family on a weekly basis and everyone who came to visit was treated to all the news. We moved away to another city, but made one last visit. She advised that the husband had run away with the maid who was Sophia Loren's cousin, and left his wife and 2 kids behind, still sobbing. I wish I had a photo of the doll house, but I had not taken up photography at that time. I can have a question about the story with these photos, just make up your own.
Sorry about the misplaced words, but you all will get the meaning anyway.

SO happy, it's the exact one I emailed to grandma from the Justice Catalog.
They should have warned not to put it on backwards. "May devour head".

I'm still doing double takes on your avatar, but I checked my closet and I don't have a shirt like that.
