So you have a link to the actual transcript in context for a quick fact check? Not saying he did say this or did not I just like to fact check it myself for accuracy. I say this because you are known for posting out of context BS.

It’s been on all the tv channels. It happened. He’s lost his mind.
Newsweek:
Former President Donald Trump was caught in a lie during his Monday testimony, telling prosecutors he was too "busy in the White House" to be involved in the preparing of his 2021 financial statements, even though he had already been succeeded by Joe Biden.
Asked about whether he was involved in the 2021 valuations of his properties, Trump defended himself by telling prosecutor Kevin Wallace, "I was so busy in the White House. My threshold was China, Russia, and keeping our country safe."
Rac, just Google it, but you might just want to pretend Trump didn’t say it because you don't want to believe it.
Well at least someone supplied the link. I will take a look at it and respond, thank you.
Well that wasn’t actually the full transcript in context, I don’t actually need the full transcript just the transcript for that part in context. But yes, I agree. They are both too old to be running for president. We do need somebody fresh and clean. maybe more in the center.

Well I have been too busy to watch any TV, some of us still have to work for a living ya know. But I didn’t read other news sources and apparently that’s what he said.

I had no idea you actually had a job, seriously. I guess congratulations are in order. I'm curious what you do, but that isn't exactly any of my business. I guess it's easy to make judgements about others.

I have worked most of my adult life and have rarely ever been unemployed, I did take unemployment insurance once decades ago when I was “between jobs”.

I wonder if Trump said this to see if the MSM would give him a pass like it does for Biden's gaffes.

Pretty far fetched. I don't think there is anyone who has worked for Trump who would say he plays chess, let alone 3 dimensional chess. I'm not saying the board game, but I doubt that too.

I doubt that’s why he did it, but it does prove one thing about what you said the Leftie news sources gives Biden a Pass for his multitude of gaffes, but they single out trumps few gaffes.
