It was nice where I lived in Tn. We had 4 good seasons there. I love photographing all but summer. I also love painting all seasons but summer. Summer is mostly just green. Of course, Fall is my favorite season to paint.

Well, at least you get Green. In CA the summers are usually mostly brown, as is fall until rains come.

I had a dear friend who lived there and she said the same thing. She hated brown!!!
Living on the gulf waters in the Coastal Bend of South Texas these last few years, I will enjoy sunrise walks with my little terrier off the leash on the newly deserted beach. Winter here can have it's cold spurts and the ocean gets rougher, takes on a darker hue - and that's nice. Like many, I've done all the snow and long periods of gray I want to endure. It's all been great and experiencing the differences in climates bring meaning to the changes. These last years are just another very peaceful chapter in life that I have been blessed to experience here. Enjoy the type of winter you enjoy my fellow Hogs.

Anticipate. I love it when the weather man says " Snow by morning heavy at times". I'm retired and would not have go out much and Ii have a Subaru. And the photo opportunities are endless.
I'm with ya! "snow by morning, heavy at times!" The snow blower is ready, I'm retired, AND, I have a Subaru! And a natural gas fireplace in the basement! Live is good!!
Yep…pulled my @ pair of jeans and a hoodie out this week…might have them on 4, maybe even 5 times here in SW FL before May.
