Nice finds, Greg, and I like the house and its light; they give the photo a sense of place, a sense of reality.

Thank you. I appreciate your comments. As I said, I cloned out one house because it was just too big and was distracting. I felt it took away from the photo. I agree with you about the small house, though.

We had a nice sunrise this morning. Not spectacular, but nice. It took me about 8 minutes to get from our house to my vantage point (not the one I wanted, but time was of the essence) and in that time I lost most of the sunrise. Pioneer Peak (6800’ elevation) on the right, and the far left tall peak is Mt. Marcus Baker at just shy of 14,000’ elevation. To the right of that peak, but out of sight is the Knik Glacier and glacial bowl consisting of several other glaciers. Iphone 13 Pro Max. I couldn’t crop the house out of the shot without ruining the photo. Your comments appreciated regarding the full or cropped image.

You did yourself proud. Like both versions but think the reflections in the lake adds to it. might be able to remove the house in photoshop.

Thank you. I removed the bigger house in Snapseed as it was just too intrusive, but I left the smaller one as I felt it added to the overall picture.

Ok, I took a few seconds and used the healing tool in Snapseed to clone out the house. How’s this?

Greg, I like the house. Perhaps remove only the green and small white light that attracts the eye and leave the house. That way there is no blackout hole. Larry

I like it as that leaves more of the lake and a hint of the house.

Ok, glad you like that version. The original had a lot of possibilities.

Beautiful! I hope you kept a copy of the image with the house in it. I would have left it there.
