Great shots. “Memories.” Grandfather had a large HC tree that was great to climb. Great for wars. Great for hollowing out for a pipe.

Thank you so much for your generous comment Bob, enjoyed hearing about your “Memories”.

This is a cool post, Sylvia! You're going to have us colonials speaking "proper" English in no time if you keep this up!

Happy you like it Keith and thank you so very much for your kind and humorous comments. I love them!

Fun set Sylvia but the Cat takes the honors

Ted was very photogenic and a wonderful natured and affectionate cat once he realised he was welcome in our home, it took a long time though! Pleased you enjoyed them Jack always appreciate your comments.

Lovely cat. We had horse chestnut trees near where I grew up in Hartford, Connecticut.

Thank you very much Karin for your comments, they are lovely trees especially when their flowers bloom.

I like your pictures. Ted looks not at all like a feral cat, you must have cat-fellowship in your makeup!
Poul.

Thank you very much Poul happy to know you enjoyed them. Eating good food twice a day outside for a year before we tamed him certainly made a difference from the thin cat that first arrived. I have spent over 20 years voluntarily working on farms trapping ferals, testing, neutering and releasing back to the farms. Living in a village surrounded by fields and farms always plenty to catch. Also going into large industrial businesses doing the same. Tiring but very rewarding when you visit again to check on the cats and see such a huge difference in the quality of life they have.

Thank you very much Poul happy to know you enjoyed... (show quote)

Thank you for the work you have done for the cats. I sense a deep love for cats which I share. I have always, from childhood on felt that a house without a cat was not a home. Our aging cat Bagheera (all black except for 11 white hairs on his chest) agrees with that sentiment!

Thank you Poul, I totally agree but as we now travel and away for long periods of time we decided to become a home without a cat. we have neighbours cats who visit us. I hope you have many more years with Bagheera and spoil him.🐈‍⬛
