I have one expensive watch...which I never wear.
Problem solved.
You will always have 'time' to add to your collection.😁
Only "time" will tell... or "time" heals all"

I think I just caught the worst case of GAS.
I only have 2 pieces for many years & 4 in the previous 5, but just the last 40 days, it blew to a couple of dozen and i'm itching for more...
Dang! Who's got a cure? I think I really need one.
I feel for you but my iPhone, microwave, cars, oven, weather forecaster, thermostat, computer, bank signs, TV, etc. all display the time, and I'm retired so I haven't worn a watch in years.
I can't think of anything that I currently collect. In fact, I'm now giving away (to relatives) or donating a whole lot of "Perfectly Good "Stuff".
Funny how my "Treasures" have become "Just Stuff" to me.
Good luck with curbing the GAS.
Best Wishes,

Hi Wallen,
I don't see a Panerai in the collection.

There is no cure! I have a very large collection of Cameras over 350 (lost count at that point). But before cameras I started on pocket watches and wristwatches and I’m still collecting and repairing both. At times I’m so broke I can’t even pay attention😂🤣. As the last I heard the Mayo Clinic is working on a cure but to this day they still haven’t come up with any. My sympathy caring and concern goes out to you and your family. (Oh Oh I just got a M9 Bulova Astronaut) 😂. Enjoy! Bruce

My name is Alan and I'm a watchaholic.
I also have a watch collection. There are about 25 ranging from very expensive Rolex to a $19.95 Timex. By the way, the Rolex doesn’t keep as good time as me cheap digital models. However, I recently got an Apple Watch for its health features (ekg, fall alerts etc). I wear it almost exclusively so my others sit in a drawer.

Get a cellular telephone. Keeping time is the second of only 2 things they are good for.
Does anyone really know what time it is? Does anyone really care? :)

How does that work at night?
A digital watch will tell you the time it is when you are looking at it, but an analog watch will not only tell you the time it is when you look at it, but will provide a graphic sense of how much time has passed since you began your activity or how much time you have remaining to finished whatever you're doing or to get somewhere. This is one reason an analog watch is also better than a cellphone for a time piece.
