Day one of Chump's fraud trial:

The trial will be decided by the judge. Begs for WHY Chump's lawyers didn't request a jury trial. While they screwed the pooch, Chump continues to badmouth the judge at every turn. Smart guy.

Of course, the MAGA crowd are incensed. But, you gotta give it to Chump after all, he's told us many times that he is a genius... right? He proved it by taking that "intelligence test"... You know.... The one where the patient is asked to draw a clock and put numbers on it... that proves it right there... he's a genius!

Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV....

Next time they give Trump the test the words will be: "Fraud, over-inflate, insurrectionist, prison, misogynist."

Your trip sounds wonderful.

Our quick trip to Athens was a whirlwind, but was fabulous. Being "off the USA" grid was good. We could learn to adopt some Greek culture traits to be happier! We're eating a mediterranean diet now.

Took a lot of years to smell the roses, lol!

The only thing I feel I missed was news concerning the possible shutdown. That would likely have shut the park down and possibly effected air travel. We weren't overly concerned for ourselves, not a big deal, but many did not need the horrific consequences.

Potential travel disruptions were the only thing we watched for; our trip was for daughter's business so her company kept us posted. We were on grandparents' duty with our 14 year old grandson while our daughter was presenting at the conference. Grandson has become a walking encyclopedia of Greek mythology now.

The roses are definitely fragrant.

Our biggest thrill has been including five of our grandchildren into some of our Yellowstone ventures. Sharing this opportunity is what it's all about.

Here's a couple of quotes from the judge's ruling:
“In defendants’ world: rent regulated apartments are worth the same as unregulated apartments; restricted land is worth the same as unrestricted land; restrictions can evaporate into thin air; a disclaimer by one party casting responsibility on another party exonerates the other party’s lies,” Engoron wrote in his 35-page ruling. “That is a fantasy world, not the real world.”

Engoron found that Trump consistently overvalued Mar-a-Lago, inflating its value on one financial statement by as much as 2,300%. The judge also rebuked Trump for lying about the size of his Manhattan apartment. Trump claimed his three-story Trump Tower penthouse was nearly three times its actual size, valuing it at $327 million.

“A discrepancy of this order of magnitude, by a real estate developer sizing up his own living space of decades, can only be considered fraud,” Engoron wrote.

A comment was made quoting Chico Marx: “Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?”

If his properties were undervalued for taxes, he cheated on real estate taxes; if he over-valued his properties he restricted property capacity for insurance purposes; if he had a loss - fire, etc., he could be getting more than which he was entitled.

While I was the token goyum on my floor at college I learned a wonderful Yiddish term - "goniff," i.e. a thief.

This morning is the first day of the $250,000,000.00 fraud trial in New York City.
Trump would like to let his supporters know that he needs them to send money.
In the end, I truly hope that this trial leaves Trump penniless and that his kids have to leave their condos because Daddy no longer owns the building.
This is going to be a fun time in NYC, watching the Blubber Master sweat off a few pounds.
Let justice prevail!

I wonder if the pots & pans are flying in their kitchen, with Melanie going for more prenup & a stash for the Barons future?? She earned her gold?

Your note popped up just as I was about to leave for an appt., but I laughed - this lady is no dummy. She has allegedly reworked her pre-nup into a post-nup:

If Trump goes to jail - do you think Melania will be going for conjugal visits? Me neither.

This will not be over anytime soon as if Trump loses you know it will be appealed. I can tell you that if the judge estimated the value of Mar-a-Lago at 18 to 28 million he is off his f-ing rocker. Seems to me that banks and insurance companies do their own appraisals on properties used as collateral or insured, so it is hard to see how he defrauded them, as far as tax assessments, does NYC not have a Tax Accesors office that does appraisals for tax purposes? I know that where I live I don't get to set the value of my home for tax purposes.

I don't believe that any of the loans related to this case have gone into default and many may have been paid off so it is hard to find a victim in this case... But twist the law dems and weaponized it, your time will come.

The judge did NOT estimate the value of Mar a Lago!

That's another LIE you decided to swallow.

Could it be that many of the Chumpsters here in the Attic are starting to see the light?

Not many posting their "crap" as Chump's LIES are being proven.

Could it be that they are losing faith in their fuhrer?

Their party is imploding.

She'll be going somewhere for conjugal visits, but it won't be to jail to see Trump.

She'll still have Secret Service to provide for her needs.
