Here we call them ladybirds Dennis, unfortunately we have not had many this year just the odd one or two! Lovely seeing so many, fine set.

I have heard them called ladybirds too Sylvia but not often. I like that name too. It suits them. Thanks for your gracious comments.

I have seen 2 collections of Lady Beetles in the winter, once in Spain where a large group had collected on a dead stem and other time on a grave stone where just a few cuddled together. Good pics.
