I kept encouraging them to fly around for me so I could get some great shots like yours, but it was like talking to a wall

South Bend zoo on a bright September morning All close shots because I only had my 150-600mm lens with me. I read later on that these guys are relatively harmless unless you go within ten miles of them

Sometimes only having a particular lens limits you into doing something great, Brian. You did it here.

BE CAREFULL - within the last week a Florida 14-footer was caught and killed while dragging the lower half of a woman across a slough - not a joke!!

Well, I also see alligator nuggets at one of the gas stations in Indiana ⭐

Is that like nuggets for POOP or as in FOOD. BIG and HUGE difference.

I heard about that. Now that is something we don't see every day.

They are typically non-aggressive BUT a number of newcomers here have been kicking at at em when they are in a yard or putting green which results in the loss of a kicking leg and sadly the gator who didn't like being kicked at gets shot. Leave them be, they will do the same for you. They were here FIRST!
