Please do not pay any attention to the crybabies here about typing in cap locks. You have already stated why are you did it and you’re not shouting so enough said. It doesn’t bother me one bit. Actually it’s easier for me to read.
Again, you have stated why you type with catalogs and that you’re not shouting that should be enough for the crybabies and if it’s still a problem. with them they can change their own diaper.

Interesting that as far as we can tell to this point ADMIN did not admonish him. In the past when I has new to the UHH I got chewed out by one of the ADMINS for using all caps in a title or a very short one or two sentence post. It was like a birthday or holiday wish, not even a paragraph about a question. Go figure. I've since learned all sorts of ways to stress things with out breaking the rules.

Yes admin sent me a note..........today i downloaded legacy photo from microsoft, works like the old app, it also imports from sd card with no problems........the replacement did not work.......thanks again for all of your help/advice.......look only 1 cap.......... :) take care........

Same here… Both are excellent. Fastone Viewer is a workhorse for me and many others. Plus, it has limited editing capabilities. Often, it’s all I need.

Interesting way this discussion went.

As Ive said before, this general discussion site needs official moderators, not self appointed ones. People who have the authority to block comments, move posts, etc. Oddly, when there is a post about a general photo, people are admonished by others that the post belongs in the photo gallery. Yet, when there is a discussion about travel, film, etc. those posts remain on the general forum, with no admonishment, which makes things a bit incongruent..does it go here or there? The value of this site is diminished, at least for me, because of the lack of consistency.

When I did admin a section here, I sent people messages privately if they got off track rather than hijacking the post from its original topic, which, to me, is more inappropriate than all caps. In such instances, I then deleted their post or had them correct it. All out of the site of the public. My practice here and at work, I figure to criticize in private and praise in public unless I had a very specific reason for not following that path.

In this case, it was clear the op was not yelling...and even if he was, he was yelling at his computer. Context matters. A simple pm would have sufficed and we all move on to the topic at hand. Most notably, the one person who has not taken offense, and has remained polite, is the OP! Perhaps we can all follow his lead to be good natured.
