Yes, it's a composite of 3 images for exposure, and the moon size was manipulated as well.

Hi Don, thanks, and yes, it is a composite. The first shot was a 20 sec exposure to smooth out the water, the second was at a higher shutter speed and iso to capture the boat without motion blur, and the third at an even higher shutter speed and lower iso to properly expose the moon. Also, full disclosure, I also manipulated the moon size.

I think it's more impressive once one knows what it took to make this image. It's really seeing the final image in your mind's eye then setting forth to make it happen which involved a lot of skill and knowledge. Needs a better title though. Just calling it Super Blue Moon puts you in a class with a lot of other hoggers and it's well beyond that. Good Job, Good Show.
