Good to hear from you, Kathy. We try to accept the inevitable as a positive as much as we can.

We feel your loss.
I believe that God allows us to feel the loss of our pets, as a (possible), loss of human friends, later on in life. Humans do not enjoy loss, at any time.
Bless you, ‘friend’.

Many thanks for your visit, kind words and blessing, JBuckley. Well received.

It's the way we choose to look at it, too. Thank you, crafterwantabe.

Sorry for your loss, Chance, Brady was a great looking pup.

Handsome, indeed, but the 'book was better than the cover.' Appreciate your condolence, Ernest.

So sorry for your loss. I am happy, though that he brought you so much joy over the years he spent with you. We have lost many furry friends in our married life, but the joy of having such a close relationship with them far outweighs the grief of losing them.

Great to hear others have the same perspective that is a work in progress for us, ad8rr. Glad you visited.

Sincerely sorry for your loss. We lost our beloved dog just over a year ago. I miss him every day, especially when I take my morning walk. Dogs are one of God's gifts to we humans.

Bill, our condolences to you and all who have experienced such loss. Dogs give it to us unconditionally, but we hope what we gave was of reciprocal benefit.

Thank you, AirWalter. So true. Glad we have so many images to complement the memories that can make us smile and laugh enough to lighten the load.

I know the pain you are feeling. "Terrible" is not a strong enough word for it. I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you and your family!

Thank you for looking in, Jo. Comforting to hear heartfelt emotion from someone so involved with the friendship of animals.

What a handsome chap! my Sandy (not quite as handsome but still nice) was 15 when he left me in 2008. Haven't been able to replace him so far - maybe soon? Thanks for sharing such beautiful photos it brings back so many wonderful memories. Cheers JohnR

A touching memorial for your best friend, Brady, it brought me to tears. My Rocky passed 4 years ago and I am still missing him dearly. I hope you find peace in your heart.

Those who have never felt the love of an animal, have not lived a fulfilled life.
Only those of us who have and lost one can begin to comprehend your grief.

I offer my deepest condolences.
