A short time ago I posted a photo of this bird demonstrating his/her curiosity of a butterfly and mentioned the show put on for me. Here is a shot of the bird's interest in something on the ground. Shot with a Sony A1, 600mm f/4 w/ 1.4x converter (840mm), 1/5000, ISO 3200. A slight crop, processed thru Topaz deNoise, and the background reduced approx 1/3 stop to slightly separate the bird from the background. Hope you enjoy!. Constructive comments always appreciated.
Nice POV, nice story being told, good detail, good wing position. I agree with others comments about maybe reducing BG even another 1/3-2/3 stop. If possible (depending on crop you made) I would extend image at bottom. I agree with another post that my eye was drawn to whatever the bird is looking at-I caught myself looking for it also. Even if the object of his attention is not visible, it would be effective to at least give it some room.
