Most of the people I’m seeing are wearing Western clothing styles. Were most of the folks at this event tourists or have many Mongolian folks adopted mens slacks and shirts, or the women capris and leopard print dresses?

The ones in western clothes are probably from Ulaanbaatar. It's a large city of two million souls, and is very up to date in styles and attitude. The finish line, where we were, was just about ten or so miles outside the city.
