Here I am, on the road in New Hampshire, and I come across a great monster rock and rushing-water scene. I'm getting ready to start shooting, and this lass walks by and gets right in front of me. I contemplated approaching her and asking if she would kindly move until I got my shot. However, I considered that she might put a karate move on me and ruin my day. I tell you, these young people just have no respect for old codgers.

Personally, I think she’s over dressed for enjoying the experience offered by nature in those falls and pools.

The Height of Rudeness may be yours. Afterwards did you realize that you might have been rude and not that lovely you lass. You did make the best of the photo. One question: You mentioned rocks but where are they? LOL!

Great shot, Mamba, would you please crop the rocks out for a better look, please?

Likely story for the wife.

Ordinarily, you'd probably be right. In this case, my wife was about 10 feet from me. Her position was that pretty girls always draw attention, particularly in attire like that.

Gen-Z without a smartphone taking a selfie. How rare is that?

That's a great observation, Gary.

Just listen to all you guys...how do think I reacted when she walked within 4 feet of of me as she worked her way down the narrow passage to the water. And she did smile as she said " excuse me ". Mercy.

Let it be documented that I am not one to ignore the pleading of a valued fellow member of our forum.

I see you took full advantage of the situation and adapted your shot to it. Best of all, no model release necessary!

You're the director of the shoot, are you not? How old does one need be to find her pose "rude?" My grandfather would never lose control as this! Grow young dude.

I probably would have suggested to her to lose that crappy bikini and pose for me.

I've been waiting to see if someone would come up with this. It was my first thought. We could also have found out if she was a real blonde -- which is, by the way -- the rarest hair color in Texas.

You, my friend, have missed the point of the whole thing. It was a togue-in-cheek exercise from the get go. Have you not followed the thread...if you had, you would not have made this inane comment. Everyone else got on board early and shared in the fun. Sorry, but the whole thing is obviously over your head.

In the early 70's, I spent a fair amount of time in Austin. I must have been lucky. I ran across the mother load of blondes.
