Here I am, on the road in New Hampshire, and I come across a great monster rock and rushing-water scene. I'm getting ready to start shooting, and this lass walks by and gets right in front of me. I contemplated approaching her and asking if she would kindly move until I got my shot. However, I considered that she might put a karate move on me and ruin my day. I tell you, these young people just have no respect for old codgers.

I see you took full advantage of the situation and adapted your shot to it. Best of all, no model release necessary!

Please give that young lady my name and address so I can send her plane fare to take advantage of the water sport areas here in Idaho. I doubt I would EVER be that old, not to appreciate nature's beauty.

Did you mention rocks in the picture? I must be missing them.

Dennis

You could have given her a shove in to the water and then take your photo. Or next time bring a drone camera.

That happens to me at the beach. Someone looking for shells or shark’s teeth or whatever will stop right in front of me and they’re not only young people. They are so wrapped up in what they are doing they’re oblivious to their surroundings and what others are doing they don’t notice. I ask them to move so I can get the shot and most often they will apologize and move on.

I would have gone right up to her and discussed the situation (not really).

I think I would have stayed right where I was and let her stay right where she was - while I enjoyed the magnificent vista 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I can sure understand, Dennis. I was just praying that I didn't black out.

I thought about trying to go get in front of her. But she might have adopted the pushing routine on me.
